July 2008 Meeting Dates

The second Silent Auction Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 10th, 2008 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm beginning at The QUARRY. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. 

As we begin our efforts to solicit great auction items, it is important that we provide you with an opportunity to visit the impressive 22-acre campus on the south side of town and see this wonderful organization in action. You can be assured that it is more than inspiring and may be just what everyone needs to jump start our "asks"--as well as not take no for an answer:)

At this meeting we will:

• Take a tour of the Mission Road Campus.  The shuttle will leave the Quarry at 6:00pm.  Tour at Mission Road (8706 Mission Road) will begin around 6:20-6:30pm.  We will tour for 30 minutes and return to the Quarry by 7:30pm.
• Turn in pledge forms and collected items
• Sign up for more prospects in order to acheive a collection goal of 10 auction items/packages (valued at $50 or more) and 1 super silent auction item (valued at $500 or more)
• Get needed materials
• Visit and brainstorm for new ideas
